Katyayani Fantasy Plus Composition and Technical Details

• Technical Content: Fipronil 4% + Acetamiprid 4% SC
• Mode of Entry: Contact and Systemic
• Mode of Action: Fantasy Plus disrupts nerve impulse transmission by blocking Gamma Amino Butyric Acid (GABA)-gated chloride channels in the central nervous system, preventing chloride ion uptake and causing excessive neuronal stimulation. This hyperexcitation leads to severe paralysis and death of the insect. Acetamiprid acts as a Nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) antagonist at neuronal and neuromuscular junctions, disrupting signal transmission, which results in nerve cell excitation, severe paralysis, and ultimately the death of the treated insect.

Katyayani Fantasy Plus Usage & Crops

• Recommended Crop: Cotton
• Target Pest: Aphids, Jassids, Whiteflies
• Dosage: 2ml per liter of water
• Method of Application: Foliar Spray is recommended. Mix the recommended dose in ¼ of the recommended quantity of water to the spray tank with agitation, add remaining quantity of water with continuous agitation.
• Time of Application: Apply as soon as the insect population begins to appear in the field but before it reaches Economic Threshold Level (ETL).
