- Machete has been the leading rice herbicide for farmers all over the country.
- Machete is a selective herbicide for pre-emergent weed control in paddy rice.
- Application is 1-4 days after transplanting.
- Machete gives excellent control of many grasses, sedges, and broad-leaved weeds such as Echinochloa crusgalli, Digitaria sanguinalis, and Cyperus iria.
- These herbicides are used for pre emergence control of most annual grasses, certain broad leaf weeds in seeded & transplanted rice.
