Technical Name - Mancozeb 63% + Carbendazim 12% WP
- Backbone is a scientific combination of Mancozeb 63%WP which is a contact fungicide of the dithiocarbamate group and Carbendazim 12%WP which is a systemic fungicide of the Benzimidazole carbamate group.
MODE OF ACTION:-
- Backbone works by inhibiting the development of Fungi by interfering with spindle formation at mitosis ( cell division ).
- It affects the nervous system by inhibiting spore germination and biochemical processes within fungal pathogen cell.
- Its Multisite protective & curative action inhibits spore germination and ensures double protection from inside & from outside.

Dosage -
- Foliar spray: Chili, Grape, Mango, Paddy, Potato, Tea
- Foliar spray and Seed treatment both in Groundnut.
- Paddy - 300 gm/Acre
- Groundnut - 2.5 gm/ Kg Seed
- In Foliar spray Groundnut - 300 gm/Acre
- Potato - 300 gm/Acre
- Tea - 500-600 gm/Acre
Note: Frequency of Application depends upon the severity of the infection and favorable weather conditions.
